We believe that being a responsible breeder means taking responsibility for our breeding decisions.  We very carefully select our parents for health and temperament to ensure that our puppies have the best start possible to life!  We do extensive health testing on our parents so that we have healthy puppies.  Every puppy comes with a 2 year genetic health guarantee and hip guarantee.

Genetic Health Guarantee and Hip Guarantee
 

The 24 month genetic health guarantee and hip guarantees are valid until the pet reaches the age of 24 months if the puppy is fed high quality food and is taken to the veterinarian at least annually.

For this guarantee to be valid, the pet must not have been bred or have sired a litter. Males must not be neutered until age 12 months, in order for hip guarantee to be honored. Females should be at least 6 months old before being spayed. The latest research supports waiting longer to alter, to support optimal joint health.

Any heart problems must be diagnosed within the first 12 months and persist after 20 weeks of age.

Since the most common cause of both heart murmurs and hip dysplasia in dogs is poor nutrition (obesity) and/or inappropriate exercise, we ask that you enter in to partnership with us, by giving your puppy adequate nutrition and care so that they can have the healthiest life possible!

If all conditions above are met and any life threatening or seriously disabling defect of certain congenital/genetic origin affects your pup any time in the first 24 months we will replace the puppy with a puppy of the same value or help you pay the vet bills up to the original rehoming fee.

All illnesses must be diagnosed by a qualified veterinarian and we reserve the right to have a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice at our expense. If the puppy is euthanized or disposed of without a second opinion, you waive all rights to a new puppy.
