We anticipate having 2 litters of adorable teddy bear medium F1b Goldendoodle puppies available in 2026. One litter has gone home and we expect the next litter in September to October of 2026.  The parents are Faith and Rusty.  Our F1b Goldendoodles are all be apricot-red in color, and some will have white markings.  They usually weigh 40-50 lbs fully grown.

What is a F1b Goldendoodle?

An F1b Goldendoodle is a Goldendoodle and a Poodle backcross.  A Golden Retriever-Poodle mix, they are 25% Golden Retriever and 75% Standard Poodle.

How big is a F1b Goldendoodle?

Medium sized Goldendoodles typically weigh between 35-50 lbs.  This is a wonderful size for anyone wanting the friendly, active temperament of a Goldendoodle, but not wanting a standard sized one (50-100+lbs) or a miniature sized one (under 35 lbs).

How much do F1b Goldendoodles Shed?

Because they are a backcross to a poodle, F1b Goldendoodles shed less that F1 Goldendoodles and many F2 Goldendoodles.  They tend to have a very curly coat and to be very low to no shed.
