Raising Puppies with Intention to Be Lifelong Family Companions

Our Health Testing Standards
Our Health Testing for Parents
Our top priority is breeding and raising healthy, well adjusted puppies. This is why we take health testing our parents very seriously. At minimum, we meet the minimum standards set out by the Good Dog veterinarians for each of our breeds and our personal veterinarian. Each breed has its own risk factor, which is why our standards differ with different parents.
We believe based upon research and our discussions with veterinarians and other breeders, that our minimum standard is a great place to start with our health testing standard. It is always our commitment to continue to improve every aspect of our program through education and trial and error. Health testing is no different, while this is our minimum standard, you will see that many of our parents have more health testing than our minimum standard.

Health Tested Parents Matter
Raising puppies to be a family's lifelong companion means that I take raising healthy puppies seriously: I want my families to enjoy their doggie companion and make a lifetime of happy memories together. I am committed to having parents for my puppies that are healthy physically and emotionally.
This is why we have a minimum testing standard for the health of our parents. Over the years I have had many conversations with families and I have heard stories, stories of surgeries completed within a dog's first few years of life because of hip dysplasia, a dog going blind before her time, and a young dog suffering with crippling hip dysplasia for years because of early neutering. These conversations have made me very aware of my responsibility as a breeder to only breed healthy parents and to educate families.
